She joined PETROBRAS in 1985, and has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, especially in activities related to well construction. She has developed a solid professional career as a researcher and professor in the area of Drilling and Completion Fluids, with national and international activities. She was a Master Consultant at the PETROBRAS Research Center – CENPES, until leaving the Voluntary Dismissal Program in 2017. Since then, she has worked as a technical consultant in academic and industrial projects.
Among the research projects under her coordination, there are members of the portfolios of PETROBRAS' main technological programs. Among them, projects for the development of fluids for drilling and completion of wells in exploratory frontiers (PROFEX), in deep and ultra-deep waters (PROCAP 1 and 2) and in the Pre-Salt scenario (PROSAL) stand out. In coordinating the Fluids team at CENPES, he promoted and acted in lines of research focused on the development of new fluid formulations, on the evaluation of well stability and processes of physical-chemical interaction between rocks and fluids and on studies of non-aggressive fluids environment and operational safety. In addition to working on RD&I projects, she worked continuously in the provision of technical support services to the Company's operational units. In the international area, its participation in the project "Well Construction Project and Operation for PETROBRAS America in the USA – Cascade and Chinook wells" stands out.
